I wanted to take a moment to break from the typical posts to highlight some music on the other side of the world. Until a controversy like the one going on right now happens, we (as Americans) tend to forget about engaging (and educating) ourselves in the culture of another country.
Music is inarguably one of the biggest cultural influences in America. With the extreme variety of genres and artists present in modern America, it’s difficult to grasp the limitations foriegn governments place on not only political issues, but also cultural growth and change.
