There’s a certain something…organic about The Black Rabbits. On the first listen, there’s no doubt that they could’ve stepped out of a time machine straight from the British Invasion.
After a few spins of their material, it’s apparent that it’s heavily influenced by bands like The Pixies, The Ramones, The Strokes, and perhaps (and I know I’ll get people mad because I’m drawing this parallel) the Beatles. Overall, it’s an easy, uncomplicated listen. Not overproduced, simple, yet solid harmonies, and the best part, no apparent auto-tune.
The Black Rabbits are one of those indie bands that has succeeded in not only capturing a timeless sound, but has also mastered the fine art of keeping it from getting dated. Even if you’re not a Brit-rock fan (I’ll be the first to say I am not a Beatles fan!), The Black Rabbits are a new band that will still catch your ear. Check them out on Amazon if you’re interested in purchasing.

This is great. Thanks for the amazing music.(:
I wasn’t expecting to hear something I would immediately love. Hurry, Hurry is an amazing song!
The next Death Cab?!? I wouldn’t go that far. They’re not even comparable to Death Cab. The Black Rabbits is more about simple lyrics, yet with a good sound that’s catchy. They’re good, in fact I for sure will be keeping a close eye on them from now on but I wouldn’t say they’re that amazing. Although they do seem to have a lot of potential. I definitely think we’ll be hearing more of them soon.
There’s something very familiar and new about their sound. I really liked them from the first song I heard.
i reallyyyy like their music…..its good.. thats why i like it 0.o
“Hurry, Hurry” kinda reminds me too much of “heaven can wait” by Charlotte Gainsbourg. Decent song though…
They’re really good. His voice reminds me a bit of Julian Casablancas. Just a tad.
But definitely not Death Cab.
yeah, these guys are pretty awesome!!! I’ve never heard a song that i’ve liked straight away like this before…. I’ll be keeping my eye on these guys.

I really enjoy this. I plan on featuring you guys on my indie radio station! I am so glad that I found you! The music is simple, yet complex enough to draw the listener in. I love the very organic way the post-production ended up.
